
Jack Atherton BSc, MBChB
Jack is an incoming Foundation Year 1 doctor at East Sussex NHS Foundation Trust in the United Kingdom. He completed his medical degree at the University of Manchester, where he also earned a first-class intercalated BSc in Global Health. Jack has been actively involved in global health and oncology research, with projects presented at international conferences including ESMO, ASCO, and ASME. His work spans cancer screening, clinical trial equity, and academic integrity in medical education. He has completed global oncology placements in India, Argentina, and Brazil, including clinical rotations at the National Cancer Institute (INCA) and the Latin American Cooperative Oncology Group (LACOG). His current interests include global oncology, equitable access to cancer care, and international research collaboration.
Jack joined GLOW to contribute to impactful global projects and to collaborate with like-minded professionals committed to advancing equity in cancer care worldwide.
